We don’t know about you guys but as soon as we reach the New Year we think about ways to update our look for the new seasons trends. We may only be in January but we’re already planning big things for when it warms up again.
If you’re looking to update your wardrobe without spending a bomb this is where we come in handy. We’ve picked 10 items from the website which we love and think would make a great addition to any wardrobe.
Sequin Aztec Bandeau Dress
We may be past the party season, but that doesn’t mean its too late to add a bit of sparkle to your wardrobe! Every wardrobe needs a stand out party piece whatever the time of year and this dress is just perfect for that. The dress comes in three different colour ways, in a bold sequin Aztec pattern. Aztec print was huge last summer and it looks set to be big again for SS2014 so get in early and bag this beauty.
Zip Side Velour Ankle Boots
The most amazing thing for me about Everything5Pounds is getting a pair of shoes for £5.00. I don’t think there’s anywhere else you could find a great pair of boots at that price! These boots come in six colours my favorites being the pink and this beautiful blue pair which is one of the must have colours for the new season.
Two Tone Pu Dress
The leather on leather look was a massive trend in 2013 and good news for all you leather lovers the trend looks set to carry on right through 2014 too. For S/S’14 leather has taken on a much softer side with some lighter pastel colours being used against black and other bolder shades in a colour blocking style.
I love this Two Tone Pu dress, it hits the new season look perfectly combining the black Pu with the violet softer material, its a great transitional wardrobe piece from winter to spring.
Perforated Colour Block Bag
Two-Tone and Tri-Tone colour block handbags are a must have for SS2014 they are already all over the high-street with River island stocking some with similar colour combos, for a much bigger price tag. This bag comes in six different colour ways (my favorite is the pink, white and yellow bag) and at £5.00 it’s just such a bargain it’s a must have accessory for any wardrobe.
Spike Stud Heel Ankle Boots
These Spike Stud Heel Ankle boots are a great dupe for the Jeffrey Campbell Lita boots only about £100 cheaper! What a bargain! It’s just too good to pass up!
Metal Stylish Collar Necklace
I love statement necklaces they are the simplest way to style up and update an outfit. Why not throw this little gem on over a plain dress or shirt to change up your look? This fab metal look necklace also comes in Charcoal and Silver so its a great versatile piece.
Two Tone Check leggings
These two tone check leggings are available in red/black or a black/grey, both would be great affordable statement pieces that would be great to throw on with a comfy knit while the weathers cooler or a slogan tee in the summer. Plus checks are sticking around well in to the new season, so snap them up quick.
Tulip PVC Skirt
PVC has been everywhere lately, you only have to pick up a magazine to see your fav celeb rocking some PVC wonder. I have been loving the baby pink and blue PVC skirts on the high street, but if pastel PVC is a bit much for you try classic black. This black Tulip PVC skirt could be right up your street as it is much more wearable. I’m not saying you have to style it up with a whip and top hat (unless you want too) but a simple tee and your favorite boots will set the look of nicely!
I love these amazing studded flatform trainers. The mixture of patent and studs makes for a really stand out shoe, they also look super comfy, a great way to spice up a plain outfit if you don’t want to wear heels.
They also come in Bronze, Gold and Silver; another definite must have.
Dog Tooth Pattern Dip Hem Dress
Houndstooth along with Gingham are must have prints for SS2014. This pretty floaty dress would be great paired with tights, boots and your winter coat while the weather is cooler and then re-styled for summer with a great pair of wedges.
